There is no doubt darker tanned people like watermelon.
I work on lift stations from time to time. Sewer lift stations. Now this is a true story. 
I was working in this totally black town town and I opened the wet well. Ten thousand eyes stared up at me. I said to my helper WTF. We find all kinds of animals and bugs, snakes ,frogs etc in wet wells. These eyes were a raft of watermelon seeds two inch's thick on top of the sewer water. They love watermelon I have never seen this in a non black area. For our next installment we will talk condom size in black towns

I had someone jump my case for saying "I would sit down and have some fried chicken" with a black Baptist pastor. I was like
, everyone knows that all Baptist pastors loves fried chicken!!!I am actually allergic to chicken but love fried chicken breast. I guess it is just in this Baptist pastor's genes! People can get their feelings hurt over some stupid stuff! |

They are "coming under fire" which is a phrase calculated to make it sound as if they are in the wrong.
Who exactly is attacking them? How many, and what are their agendas? Have they ever done anything in their lives that could possibly be construed as racists? Well they are teaching a bunch of white 18 - 22 years olds a valuable lesson, most of whom have never had a racist thought in their happy little cosseted lives. Most of them will go on to marry and raise families where they can pass these lessons on so their children can grow up with their eyes open.

Samford University President Andrew Westmoreland has shared a lengthy, at times emotional letter to the university community following the printing of an t-shirt with depictions of slavery. The t-shirts printed for the Kappa chapter of Alpha Delta Pi sorority’s formal include a map of Alabama with a depiction of an African-American person eating a slice of watermelon, with people picking cotton in the background. Westmoreland writes in detail of the "gaps, miscues and mistakes" that led to the printing of the offending t-shirt, which you can read at the end of the story. In summary, a spokesperson for Alpha Delta Pi said the chapter found the shirt design online and did not take part in creating or designing the questionable map of Alabama in any way. The t-shirt’s design was rejected by the university as part of its approval process, but the shirts were printed anyways due to the shirt vendor incorrectly marking the shirts as "approved." The shirt vendor acknowledged it failed to notify the sorority that the design had been rejected by the University, so the chapter did not know there was a problem with the design. The sorority said they are in the process of collecting the shirts and destroying them. "If you are reading this message and you are white, you may be thinking something along the lines of, “I understand that this was a racially insensitive image, but it is such a small thing, an artifact of the past, and everyone understands that it is confined to the past.” But it is precisely that attitude by those of us who are white, that makes it such a big thing to a person who is black," Westmoreland writes. "A couple of weeks ago, an African-American male, a retired executive, sat in my office and cried as he recounted the reception at which he was honored as he received the highest promotion of his career. The reception featured watermelon. None of the white executives noticed, but the moment deprived this black executive, attaining the pinnacle of a lifetime, of the joy of his accomplishments. It's hot as fuck and a nice cold watermelon is fucking delicious on days when it's so fucking hot and humid that your knickers could qualify as a federal fucking wetland.
