Well actually all gun manufacturers already have a tracking mechanism on all their firearms, it's called a serial number.

I will tell you from personal exp and knowledge that isnt happening. There are a few players in the RFID accessory for mil and LE markets, but that is for maintenance tracking and issue accountability. The industry has pushed back hard against any RF or GPS based tracking or identification devices. Mostly because you assholes are paranoid, and we are in fact a smaller subset of you.

The ultrasonic cleaner can probably push past most seals.
And it is the easy way to clean many things. |

There is actually a slot in the grip of a Chiappa Rhino I own that supposedly for an RFID device mandated in some European country.
Mine was empty when I bought the gun. I checked.
