Someone. I have turned every commemorative gun offered for sale to me as the owners asked way more than they were worth.

About as stupid and ugly as those trump glocks from a couple years ago.

I would take every one of those as a gift and enjoy shooting them.

Start with polling Lifetime NRA members. Wayne says, “like the suit?”

I bought two of each because dual wielding is a thing.

I remember seeing those in gun magazines I read in the early 2000s. Every month there was a new one and I would wonder who bought this stuff. Then I remembered that if people weren't buying these then they wouldn't keep making them.

And I think I have gone on record saying that I like flashy guns.

To me they aren't even worth what an unmolested example would run.  They're like Precious Moments figurines for fudds.

Not my cup-of-tea but still cool.

Firearms are tools to me and I wouldn't engrave my impact driver or wire stripper either.

Poor impulse control, terrible financial planning, and soul crushing debt are a hell of a combination

Plus both my current projects are at their respective gunsmiths out of my hands, so I’m looking for a new one

I want one, just so I can pull it out and show every boomer some serious wear and tear from carrying and shooting extensively. It will be awesome. Unfortunately, they still sell for ridiculous money.

Some guy brought 5 or 6 of the 1911 "special editions" into the LGS to sell. He'd bought them over the years from ads in the VFW magazine or American rifleman and kept them NIB as investments.

Poor bastard thought he was gonna' rake in the dough since the ads said they were collectors items.

My mom bought me one of these.

It was terrible so I got rid of it.  But I did enjoy the bling and appreciate the love.

I got a smoking deal during the ban on a preban Bushmaster because of engraving and bling like that.

If I could get that gaudy garbage at market or below price, I’d spray paint them and shoot the shit out of them.

It’s a shame QVC or HSN didn’t sell them.  Mom would have bought a couple dozen.

I'd have to factor in the cost of stripping it down to nothing and refinishing into any trade. That or just go crazy with a post-apocalyptic angle grinder look.

I bought this at a police auction, the magazine was taped up along the slide, so I didn't know it was engraved.  I paid $400 for a Colt series 70, possibly factory engraved.

They seem to all be about in the $2-3k range, BUT they let you finance it with monthly payments of only $100-125!

This is the most bling in the house.  Sig P238 Liberty Edition.  Mrs picked it out, and has plenty of rounds down the pipe.  It rides in her purse 24/7.
