Amazon is worried about climate change and yet they will ship me 1 tube of shaving creme in a tree murdering box and have it arrive at my front door in 2 days.
That carbon foot print is fucking HUGE!

Sounds like a bunch of corporate doublespeak.  Amazon was a great business idea and they do a good job of delivering products to customers quickly but they should shut up and stay out of politics.  A lot of things in the list below are great ways for a big business to use the power of government to hurt smaller competitors.

Free market narratives assume high margins and a non-zero-sum environment. Take one or both away, and this is simply good business.

SJW branding is a distraction from America returning to a more historically natural state. Less upward mobility, less elite accountability, no free resources lying around for the homesteading. Petit-elites run usury on peasants. Greater elites throw them to the wolves whenever the peasants revolt.

Except for the entire delivery wing but they are technically subcontractors or outside companies and do not count.

You shouldn't be a shithead and pollute, but I don't want more government regulations to "fix" what is essentially a theory. And even so, China, India, and Africa are way worse offenders. We're pretty good.

The energy industry should have access to the same technologies as other industries.

Don't know what that means.

Diversity and inclusion are good for business—and more fundamentally—simply right.

Not discriminating against people for race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality is morally right, but it shouldn't be enshrined in law. I can meet them somewhere in the middle. I don't believe in diversity quotas. That's morally wrong.

The rights of LGBTQ+ people must be protected

They already are.

We strongly support the rights of immigrants and immigration reform

Go fuck yourself, Bezos.

Governments should work quickly to put in place a regulatory framework for facial recognition technology.

Absolutely fuck yes. That's a Pandora's box of absolute fucking nightmares.

Counterfeiters should receive stronger penalties under federal law.

Uh. Sure. Whatever.

Consumer data privacy should be protected under federal law.

Sure. Whatever.

Corporate tax codes should incentivize investment in the economy and job creation

Corporate tax rate should be 0%.

Well fair point, but I didn't create this world- I just live here. My own personal boycott is not about forcing them to take a stand. It's simply a reaction to the stand they've taken. When a company does come out and take  political stances that are antithetical to my own I will not do business with them if i can possibly avoid doing so.

Amazon doesn't sell anything you can't get somewhere else. I suppose it's up to each of us to decide wether free two day shipping is worth it.

I wasn't pointing any fingers; just used your post as a generic example of the sentiment behind mixing politics and shopping.  It's kind of a catch-22... free market dictates companies can promote what they want, and it's our decision as a consumer whether to support them or not.  Nothing wrong there.  But when a company turns in a direction we don't like, it's not fair to bitch and moan about it. We can either take our business elsewhere, as you, others, and I, to some extent have done, or suck it up and say they're all political (in many cases forced into it by the left) and at the end of the day what benefits me most as an individual is to buy what I want as cheaply as possible and who cares what their social and political beliefs are.

Goddamn liberals have ruined everything.

From first hand experience, Amazon has little to no concern when it comes to protecting American trademarks from counterfeiters. Some smaller American companies will continue to fall because of Amazon claiming ignorance when it comes to counterfeits on its site.

Why does a company have political positions? I don't know or care what John Deere thinks about the climate, or gender.

Anyway, fuck Amazon. I'm glad I canceled Prime and buy elsewhere. I've beaten their prices, consistently, and their delivery has become a cluster. I truly hope they fail, even if it's unlikely, I hope they ruin their success and fail.
