I grew up on well water out in the country even on a hundred degrees days it was ice cold and tasty. If I have to have bottled water I prefer Ozarka from Texas

I get all my water from antarctic glaciers mined by vestal virgins flown to my home on the wings of Pegasus.

Nearly all city water in Florida comes from our aquifer, which is the same water that zepherhills spring water comes from. I also like artesian well spring water and artesian well sulphur water. I hate drinking Dasani or any bottled purified water.

City water here is hard, filled with minerals and has a slightly unpleasant taste. I can even taste it through strong black coffee. Filtered it tastes fine but will still kill coffee makers in less than a year. I get water from one of the reverse osmosis machines for the coffee makers. Bottled water for drinking and filtered tap water for cooking.

I just put a Gould well pump in three years ago when my old one was on the way out, so you 'betcha I'm a water snob.

City water tastes like shit including NYC and Chicago who brain wash their masses into thinking highly chlorinated water   from lead pipes and upstate road runoff is somehow the best water in the world.

It sucks and they suck

We installed both a softner for the house and a filtration system for the kitchen. In the kitchen I notice a difference in taste 100% but the softer also adds alkalines. My wife says she notices a difference with her hair and skin from the softner. I don't but she feels it helps which has residual benefits.

Natural Spring or Well Water.

I don’t drink city or municipal water. Lead pipes are a big reason.

I buy bottled water for drinking.  My wife said our city has always had a funny taste so I just didn't argue

WinCo and Aldi drinking water have a good taste.  Walmart and Samsclub taste noticeably worse to me.

Edit.... I know who our city buys water from and trust it is safe.  I also know all of the city water production guys who test water all over the city on a daily basis so it seems silly to buy it, but I still do

I bought my house precisely because it has a deep well but is on public sewer. I don't want their water, but they can take my shit.

I feel bad for people that get a well drilled and it ends up tasting bad anyway.

My dad's water has a decent amount of sulphur, it didn't bother me too much as a kid because it's all I knew, but after leaving for awhile and coming back it became very apparent.
