They'll come to teach us the secret to living in peaceful harmony, and we'll get aboard with their teachings for about three months.

Then there will be a few different groups that pop up. One group will think that humanity is being tricked into alien slavery or cook pots. Some cabal will decide that they can take on the aliens and grab their tech, and dominate the rest of us. A couple of religious firebrands will start preaching that aliens are a false god or demons or some shit. A few other groups will side with aliens for whatever reasons they might dream up.

So basically, it'll be all out war against the aliens and ourselves until the diplomatic space hippies call in their version of the Orkin man.
