After dealing with some Microsoft related bullshit today, I wouldn’t mind seeing Bill Gates getting hit by a bus, other than that, I’m fantastic.

Quoted: Why is your life dictated by old people you don't know. View Quote Well maybe because our lives are being dictated by these old people that don't know us. I see the direct results of their actions at the gas pump, my electric bill, grocery store, weaponazation of the government against ordinary Americans and prosecuting political opponents. Sorry but I just can't ignore these things that are effecting my everyday life. I can bury my head in the sand and live in a bubble. But that said I'm OK but I most certainly am not happy about what I see happening |

Watching the wife float in the pool while I’m rocking on the back porch sipping a little Knob Creek.
Could the world be better? Hell yea it could. Will I stew over it constantly and be angry? Hell no I won’t. I got one life and I’m gonna enjoy it the best I can. |

I am fortunate because I realize that life could be a whole lot worse, and I realize how good life has been to me. I think it is largely the way we look at things. Money doesn't make people happy, but it doesn't hurt all that much. I have known a number of really miserable rich people, and conversely a number of very happy people who have mediocre incomes.

Quoted: A lot of unhappy people do not understand that THEY are creating most of their own stress and misery. View Quote @DK-Prof Some of us do understand that and are doing our best not to inflict that on others. Sometimes it gets out, at least for myself I don't intend or mean it. I spend all my energy making good for those around me and sometimes lose the ability to make best for myself. There's only so much one person can do sometimes. |

Quoted: I get that. We shouldn't just ignore things for the sake of happiness. What do you think you could get out there and do to change it? Sometimes you can focus your anger to do things that make a difference. Being angry is not always a bad thing, but being angry at everything and everyone is. View Quote Please stop right there. I never said in any in any of my posts I was angry at everything and everyone But some of the replies to my posts here are a joke and being spun into something that suits their opinion Thank God our Founding Fathers were so miserable and angry they eventually did do something. Instead of excepting things because others said you can't change it. If you express your anger you are a miserable person and hate everyone and everything thing. I'm glad people are happy. I really am. But there's a huge difference between miserable and anger. Plus I never said anywhere I lived in constant anger either. But no one better not dare display any contempt or anger and we better just except what's thrown at us and be happy with because there's nothing anyone can do about it. I seen people everyday standing up and saying no to this. Are they miserable for fighting back or just angry and refuse to except the intrusion into their lifes. Oh never mind it's not worth it. |
