Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: For the last month Ive been home on Wednesdays....garbage day. Truck has come down my street same time every week. 8am. Last week they missed my can somehow...WTF. So I called their customer service # and talked to a dispatcher. He was kinda ticked at his crew because "they're not supposed to have even been on that street yet, why are they going off schedule, Im going to have a talk with that crew this afternoon" Two hours past when they've been here the last few weeks and havnt seen them yet. I think I stirred some shit up ....and thats the kind of excitement we have these days. Thanks China. I've had to do that for the recycling before, but never the trash. EVERY OTHER WEEK YOU IDIOT! When everyone has had it out at the curb for 3 straight weeks with no pick up (meaning they missed 2) yeah, they get a call. |

We have a camping trip to the black hills scheduled for the end of May. Our main campground reservation is still a go, but the place we were going to spend the night halfway there just cancelled on us.
Because sleeping a few hundred feet away from other campers is super dangerous. |

It took all my willpower to not reply to all that it's the main reason customers buy that product and that we have a shitload of people using that feature. You should have. My wife meant to forward an email from a vp to her boss, saying she never wanted to work with him on a project again. She hit reply instead. Yeah. The vp went to the president of the company and said he expected her gone by the end of the day. The president said no, we're not getting rid of Mrs AJ She was supposed to apologize, but it turned into her giving him the reasons why she didn't do the project they way he wanted. Hint - don't leave on vacation for a week when your ad idea sucks ass and expect someone to make it suck less without abandoning the entire premise behind it. |

I'm not saying I'm a business genius, but sometimes I really wonder how some of these people make it into executive level positions. Knowing the right people and talking a good game goes a long ways, but at some point you'd think people above them would see through their BS, because everyone below sure does. |

Watching the governors press conference on a mostly daily basis for the last month...
Iowa must be where reporters are put out to pasture after working at real news outlets. Long fucking rambling non liner sentences from reporters who actually remember writing about the Spanish flu. |
