Cop story time. I was booking a parolee into our local sheriff's jail for felon in possession of a firearm and tons of other violations. CHP found his girlfriend across town after we issued a BOLO for her and their vehicle. They arrested her for her outstanding warrants and dope... of course... and she's brought into the jail. One CHP officer has her and the other whispers to intake deputy. Two deputies come into the intake area followed by a civilian female jail employee. The males get locked down in a cell and the female starts to squirm like she has to take a shit... (dont get ahead of me) they ask her the intake medical questions, ask if shes bringing any narcotics into the jail. She tells and is adamant she has nothing. They begin the search. In her shirt they find more meth, and a pipe, her pockets, some pills, they separate her feet and we here glass break... pipe falls from her.... yeah that area.... we figured that was it, why she was squirming, we all laughed a bit. The female intake officer and a deputy go into an empty cell to conduct a further search...on the way a 6 inch single action .22 caliber revolver falls onto the floor....it happens from time to time but this one was loaded and pushed upstairs muzzle first! Fortunately the hammer was down and only had 4 rounds in the cylinder...

So, emailed bass pro again this week because they didn't reply last week.
Asked them to cancel my order again. Nope, it's already shipped. I don't have a confirmation email, tracking, or anything. WTH, bass pro? |
