I’ve been trying to recall, as I was 16 in 1973, but I was more to the Mopar side and real liked the Challenger. I acquired an infinitely better vehicle for practical uses for $850, a “68 VW bus. A true shaggin’ wagon. |

Guess I'm the odd one out. At 16 didn't want a super car. Knew I'd never live anywhere I could drive it. A regular "sports car" was going to be a stretch road/driveway wise.

Old man that taught the boys Sunday School class i was in had a brand new 1976 Monte Carlo. Lime green with a white vinyl top, white interior, and the rotating bucket seats. I thought it was the sexiest car I had ever seen.

I do have another set of used 94 lenses (both front and back) and also a new set of Euro-spec glass ones that I'll probably save until these won't clean up anymore. The car spends almost all of it's time in storage and I really only get it out for a few months in summer. I doubt though if I even manage to break 1,000 miles per year driving it. |
