When said son comes up with answers to questions that clearly fly in the face of common sense and physics, there's another clue. |

Fuck Australia ????
It’s the pinnacle of woke atheist countries |

Really sucks to see an Australian company buy a Tennessee stalwart. Hope they don't pull civilian sales.
I remember when Thales pulled the civilian F90 from the US market because of the the New Zealand mosque shooting. Don't know anything about the group that bought Barrett, but at least they are private and in theory not influenced by the ESG bullshit that public companies like Thales deal with Wonder what happens to the Armory stores now. They took over Franklin Gun Shop somewhat recently |

BLUF: Barrett told NY to go fuck themselves for violating citizen's 2A & RKBA and refused to sell to them or provide any services to them. AU will be more than happy to recognize fellow criminal gungrabbers. https://dailycaller.com/2013/02/21/ronnie-barrett-barrett-firearms-will-not-service-or-sell-to-new-york-government-agencies/ |

He bought it after Mark Johnson and that idiot Tommy Thacker destroyed it…. |

Good on em, hope they make a goer if it. Not only are they Aussie but Queenslanders as well.

Ronnie Barrett is 69 years old and has been busting his ass in the gun world, the world of politics and protecting 2A, and serving the military, maybe he thinks now is the time to punch out and rest on his laurels. He's done a lot, I think he deserves a chance to kick back and enjoy his grandkids without drawing the ire of the lunatic left and the woke bunch.

Was not in any way going to mention that. True story. When Cbris decided to marry the girl he was dating at the time, Ronnie had to approve of the marraige because he was afraid the girl was in it to cash in, in case of a divorce. That one was a real WTF to us in the back. |

Has product quality ever actually improved after a company take over?

Quoted: Wonder If they got Outpost Armory in the deal. View Quote I sure as fuck hope not. The Barretts own/owned (tbd) outpost armory. That doesn't necessarily mean Barrett Firearms owned it. Didn't they just buy the old Franklin Gun Shop? ETA: Outpost usually has things most places don't in regards to accessories and such. Not cheap but they've usually got a great inventory. |

Barrett was never a major influence on the civilian gun industry and the mil would have been better off with something like a 408 cheytac for LR sniping anyways

There was a time you could get good deals on bulk ammo at the old location but that was dead even before they moved into the new place and started selling to the loafer crowd. |

I bought ammo last year. I had planned on getting a Barrett this year. I hope that my plans ARENT FUCKED.
