I brew some good lawnmower Lagers. Mostly because that all the hillbillies around my cabin will drink.

I usually keep some Coors Light on hand for lawn mowing days, but last week, I went back to my roots and picked up a sixer of Busch, and I actually liked it.

I am drinking some old mil right now. Kinda weak beer at 4.9 but not bad.

You guys ever drink 8 percent? It is cheaper than the normal 5ish around here. Shot gun two and you are feelin good.

Nothing is worse than mowing grass with cheap, cheap beer.....except baling hay with cheap, cheap beer. Things will get better for you OP.

I don't drink much beer these days but on occasion where I want beer as described by the OP, Coors Light is my go to.

My favorite Pilsner that is widely available is Oskar Blues Mama's Little Yella Pils. 4.7% ABV and tons of flavor.

I've been on team red for the last year or two. It has a balanced taste IMO, not too watered down but refreshing. Something you can chug when needed.

ETA: PBR is good too.

Busch and Busch Light are my preferred cheap beers. I pick them over any of the other macro brews
