Even as a small kid I thought the fake versions of food was disgusting.
Like when my mom accidentally bought Miracle Whip. I gagged. Same when my mom tried to convert our family over to using margarine/spread, that lasted for about a day. I love mayo on my sandwiches but Miracle Whip is just nasty. |

MW is dressing, not mayonnaise. So it’s a permissible substitute when two thirds of the BLT are salad items. Mayonnaise is better, but this is about the only case where MW is decent.

I grew up on MW, loved MW. Loved bacon sando with MW. Changed over to Dukes for a few years and wanted to try so MW on a bacon sando. It was bad. I think at some point the changed the recipe or........ it was always terrible and I didn't know ant better.
