It's a death sentence.

Sadly, your clinical intuition can often times spot these folks as they come in to the
hospital/ED for eval. You can almost bet money what is going to come back on the radiologist
read of the CT. Heartbreaking news to deliver.

You could go get a CT for giggles like RBG did, if you're actually worried about it.  It worked out for her.

I was with my friend when the doc told him he had pancreatic cancer.  I'll never forget it.  My friend lasted 3 months.

Fuck cancer.

ETA: In hindsight, he should have just gone out and experienced life.  Travel, climb a damn mountain, whatever.  Instead, he opted for chemo and suffered horribly and still died.

That sucks.  I finished their new tournament that ended yesterday.  It was pretty cool.

Another part of childhood going.

Fuck cancer. Alex Is a icon of my childhood. I have no clue how many times I have watched jeopardy with my dad.

There will come a time when a new host must take over. But I can’t picture anyone except Alex hosting. He allowed the set and some game changes to happen. But he always kept the game true to its roots.

Always enjoyed his show. Wouldn't be the same without him. My work partner was diagnosed 14 months ago. Stage 4, metastasized in liver and several lymph nodes. He's almost in remission now, after a year of chemo, irradiated liver and part of his pancreas removed.

Yeah, ABCNews said there are over a thousand trials going on in the US just for pancreatic cancer.  He's got a fighting chance!

Terrible news. I can only wish him well and hope and pray he pulls through. With his money and fame, he might have a chance.

His announcement took some balls. Even with a veritable death sentence he still sounded like a professional, even cracked a joke.

Old VP at work had pancreatic cancer, i believe he was in his mid 60s. He was a fighter and wouldn't quit. Aggressive treatment but we could see him wasting away though. Made it a couple years.
I used to watch Jeopardy a lot. Hope he pulls through.

I'm going to say it again....that company in Israel needs to hurry the fuck up with its cure.
