What worries me is that when I cruise Democrat sites they all think the Republicans are stealing the elections. So now both sides are convinced that the other is cheating. Our system was strong enough to withstand the Hanging of the Chad but it is obviously weakening.

So a bunch of people are holed up in a building and defying a government order to let others enter. Where has a similar scenario play out before? I hope I'm wrong and something good will come of this but I can't escape the gnawing notion that this is quickly becoming our nations modern Harper's Ferry moment. Not everything is exactly the same but I fear it's the impetus for law and order spiraling out of control and sending this nation down a dark road. Motivations may have changed but I doubt the consequences will. Even 10 years ago the thought was far fetched and derisive, but now? I can't even go a day without completely middle of the road people whispering about civil conflict. Again, I hope I am wrong and would be happy to be so.
I know fraud has always been apart of the election process. From Tammany Hall, box 13, and countless other instances but never has fraud been so blatant and concerns so flippantly dismissed. If power is derived from consent then what happens when diametrically opposed ideologies view their same government as illegitimate? Sorry for rambling. Being a night owl can suck at times. 
I will just end this by saying we are fortunate President Trump goes to bat for us. His arrival on the political scene feels like a spark of divine providence. I can't imagine anyone else, within the GOP, with the fortitude(and the soapbox) to challenge the incessant march of corruption. |

At this point, both counties election result should be declared invalid and the election outcome is based on those votes that were counted and certified, these two counties have done nothing to hold up the integrity of the election and both should be declared null and void.
Then the people of those two counties should question the two counties election officials and let the blame rest on them. Political bias has no place in being an election official, you get one vote, just as the rest of us do, you have no right to direct an election to favor your position and if you think you do, you should be removed from office and have your ass sitting in a jail cell for corrupt election practices. |

The first I saw was back when JFK won......I was a kid but it was pretty obvious that he stole Illinois (even to a young kid). I heard the "explanations" from the asshole talking heads but even a 7 year old boy "knew" something was fishy......little kids can spot bullshit but not quite put their finger on it...….but it sounded fishy. It was obvious. They had probably engaged in voter fraud LONG before this also but I wasn't alive to hear about in real time. |

So what has changed by the filing of these lawsuits? The judges ordered the counties to do certain things and provide certain information like vote totals by a certain time, and they simply didn’t do them or just shrugged their shoulders and said the information doesn’t exist. It seems like the counting of fake votes is continuing unabated and the counties are chugging along just like before the lawsuits. They may have been found to have violated the law, and as a minimum guilty of contempt of court, but there is no penalty that I can see that’s been applied or votes thrown out. The FDLE also says there is no active investigation, regardless of what Governor Rick Scott said publicly.
Is there some 4D chess long game playing out that I’m missing, because it seems that fake votes are still being counted, these people still have their jobs, and no one is being held in any way accountable? Just don’t see what the lawsuits actually accomplished. |
