If I was the President I would tell the Israelis they get one free shot; and make it a good one. (One shot = One coordinated attack.)

oh good grief
Do you think there is a music video of them ripping open a box of trojans while they have some dumb nasheed playing in the background? There has to be a Hamas' Greatest Outtakes video out there for them to show at luncheons with some hard ass terrorizer (probably the guy with the beer gut) taking a whipit out of of the helium condom and doing funny Donald Trump impressions. We didn't put Iron Dome coverage over our most important city because we didn't think anyone would have the range to strike it. Did they fire through, over, or around the zones with Ballistic Missile Defense? If these rockets were fired through the BMD then Iron Dome is either very flawed, or the attack was allowed to happen. Iron Dome is supposed to be so sensitive that mass machine gun fire in Gaza set it off. I guess they turned the sensitivity dial down - oopsies. If these rockets were fired over the BMD then Iron Dome still sucks. After the Palestinians have been the butt of years of belittling and denigrating propaganda now we are faced with rocket engineers who can out wit the IDF. Then we see pictures of the aeronautical engineering geniuses filling up condoms with about a liter of helium so they can float/drift "IEDs" into Israel... sure. By the way, why is everything an "IED" now, what happened to "bomb" - like the bomb left at the King David Hotel. Anyways, the Israelis better pray to whatever god they worship that they don't get into a war with a country that has long range ballistic missiles that can plunge in a parabolic flight path down into their cities. If these rockets were fired around the BMD there are two options that I see: they performed a controlled turn in their flight path, or they were launched from sea. Since these rockets were reportedly launched from Gaza then they must have went out to sea, got around the BMD, made a controlled turn, and then flew towards Tel Aviv. And we are supposed to think Palestinians who throw pebbles at guys with machine guns and tanks were smart enough to do this. Supposedly Syria and Iran are bosom buddies, what if Assad got tired of Israel, and let Iran float some barges out into the Mediterranean? That is a large vulnerability for such a small country. The Gaza Strip is 141 square miles: "Due to the Israeli and Egyptian border closures and the Israeli sea and air blockade, the population is not free to leave or enter the Gaza Strip, nor allowed to freely import or export goods." Netanyahu has an Knesset election coming up, and people had been becoming dissatisfied with him and his family's apparent corruption. Netanyahu doesn't want to go to prison like Ehud Olmert did. By way of deception thou shalt make FAKE NEWS |

This. Would love to see the leadership pummeled quickly and with the least amount of damage to the general pop. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

oh good grief *snip* View Quote It landed on on a semi-rural moshav area. It landed 13km as the crow flys from my house. My big worry is that it clearly had a military grade warhead. The damage to the house and surround area is orders of magnitude higher than from the standard Qassam rockets from Gaza (they're normally homemade). News is reporting now that Iran ordered the strike, but that could easily be fake news. The reality is that the Iron Dome resources are not infinite. They have to be strategically deployed and the low pop low probability of strike region was not covered. |

Not sure if we should just start another thread or if we just view the Syria attack as one related events thread.
