Attached File Edit to change title. It is unknown who the actors were or what means were used. Not quite fake news, but an unsubstantiated claim at this point. - kpel308 |

Who do these morons think they are? Someone needs to give Persia a spanking over this...

What would be the point other than to screw up the world's oil markets?
Maybe that is the point. If Iran can't sell oil, no one else can. There is a fairly straightforward solution to this problem. |

Seriously need concrete into on cause and perps for this one.

Operation Praying Mantis II? We owe Iran some serious payback for putting up with decades of their bullshit anyway. Fuckers.

Oh crap, they actually have a sub at sea? If true then sink their entire navy.

Too many Bolton types want another war. It’s sickening.
At least many of their people could be friendly compared to Afganistán. |

... what's the likelihood any navy could hunt and punish the guilty submarine(s) that launched the torpedoes?
|

Assuming it was Iran the proper response is to take out the navel bases where these PT boats are out of. Use cruise missiles and laser guided bombs to take out any local airbases as well.
Iran is the mouthy kid that keeps fucking with guys who can kick his ass, so lets pull down their pants in front of their friends (Dems/Obama) and whip their ass hard in front of them. Evidently they don't get Trump either. |

Probably about as real as the staged Syrian gas attacks. The United States needs to get out of the middle east and let Israel fight it's own wars.

Gulf of Oman 'tanker blasts': Crews rescued safely
Dozens of crew members have been rescued after abandoning two oil tankers reportedly hit by explosions in the Gulf of Oman. Ship operators said 21 crew on board the Kokuka Courageous and 23 on the Front Altair had been evacuated. Iran rescued the 44 after an "accident", state media said, although the cause is unconfirmed. The US Navy said it received two distress calls. The incident comes a month after four oil tankers were attacked off the UAE. ... Wu I-fang, a spokesman for Taiwan's state oil refiner CPC Corp, which chartered the Front Altair, said it was carrying 75,000 tonnes of naphtha and was "suspected of being hit by a torpedo", although this has not been confirmed. He said all the crew had been rescued from the Marshall Islands-flagged vessel. The ship's owner, Norwegian firm Frontline, said the vessel was on fire. The operator of the Panama-flagged Kokuka Courageous, BSM Ship Management, said its crew abandoned ship and were rescued by a passing vessel. The tanker was carrying methanol and was not in danger of sinking, a spokesman said. It is currently located about 80 miles from Fujairah in the UAE and 16 miles from Iran. View Quote |

So they were out in the deeper waters of the Gulf of Oman, where subs from any country can easily roam. ETA: you can see the ships clustered around the Eastern terminus of the Emirates pipeline. This bypasses the Straits of Hormuz and Iranian shitheads. The two tankers hit were sort of out or the shipping lanes. Someone wanna look up their last ports qnd likely destination? |

So that makes 6 ships hit in the same general area in about a month.
