I’ve seen video of the aftermath of that.
It does a good job illustrating that if you have a victim of a bloody maxillofacial trauma who is stable and breathing, you should let them be. The old fella was sitting up breathing and speaking, but he looked like hell. |

I had to dig stuff out of (my) airway to breathe,” he wrote. “If I was unconscious, I would have died. Also, (as) long as I lay still just right I was able to keep my airway open. I could not move my face sideways or my airway would close. I know if I lost consciousness, I would probably die. So I stayed alert all the way (to Nome), and I could squeeze the hands of my two partners when they asked me questions.” |

I've never seen this argument made... that G19 is good for everything. I think that's pretty evident by the normal threads popping up of people asking what gun for bear country on a routine basis. |
