I can't believe I forgot to post this.  My rear sight started moving, rechecked and the set screw was tight.  I'm going to have to loosen it and use my jig to move it over.  Iron sight fail.

I have broken a rear sight live fire.  Never have I ever (knock on wood) have I had a red dot stop working while shooting.  I have had the SROs lens start ungluing itself from the housing, but I get them sent back before they fall out.

Witness / tamper marks with a fine brush and epoxy paint, Loctite pin & collar compound, and / or  cowitness with a red dot are ways to detect / prevent iron sight movement depending on configuration.

I don't know if his classes are normally like this, but his class this past weekend in Texas has some bangers on red dot shooting. I love these videos he's putting out. Really starts some self reflection on my progress.

147’s for irons, 124’s for optics, 100’s for PCCs.

I've been following him pretty close for a while and I haven't seen him put out the short "topic" vids like he did from my class.  It really helps me as well.  I'm hitting the range tomorrow.

I'm not the poster you quoted, but I have done a two day class with Steve.  I like Steve, and he's a blast in person, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend the class.  We spent a LOT of time working through the dry fire drills from his book.  A LOT.  Steve also doesn't do much shooting in the class (if any), which disappointed me a little.  I had fun, but if I had to choose, I'd do a Ben/Joel/Kim class 100%.

People talking about how much of an asshole he is made me do a little research. Yes, he has a humor that might put off some, but I find those people overly sensitive about stupid stuff. If something needs to be corrected, correct it and move on. No need to brood like an emo kid. I like the fact that he's like "here's what I've experienced. I've learned some stuff by making mistakes. Help me help you address those issues. Oh, and for free if you can't physically take a class or buy my book. Oh, and fuck off all you who abuse your privileges. I'll rag you until you can't wipe your ass without my voice in your head telling you to cut that shit out."

Ben's class is absolutely superb and will probably open some eyes as to how you can change up your process.

Someone posted one of his videos in one of the handgun forums recently.  I had never heard of him but have watched maybe 50 of his videos since.  Really good stuff and entertaining.  Got me back into dry firing practice and with more of a purpose.  His 2 red dot videos helped me with irons too. Oh and so much drama in the competition world lol.

Thank you.

I think I am going to pass on the class being offered at my club.  Not because I think i wouldn't benefit, but I think I would benefit more from other teachers.  I'd really like to take a Stoeger/Park or Mason Lane class.

Plus, family vacation is in a couple weeks and that's going to be a lot of money down the drain.

Also, I know I can get to M without taking a class.

Also, I want to mod my Gladiator.

29,123 rounds on my SRO as of yesterday's practice session.

Not to mention it flew off my slide and landed on the concrete at a match several weeks ago.

Is this fucking thing ever going to break.

I had a JusTaSGUt dot fail mid mag, a rear sight come out and the fiber optic fly out of front sight.  I'm lucky that way.
