For God’s sake you heathens, it’s Sydney Poitier, no contest.
Try watching some older movies occasionally, godamnit y’all are ignint. Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner In The Heat of The Night A Raisin in The Sun. To Sir With Love Consider the time in history and the subject matter/ themes of the films he worked in. Bahamian- American btw. |

Lotta notables missing.
Morgan Freeman Wesley Snipes James Earl Jones Of the options: Denzel Samuel L Jackson Will Smith - Unpopular, I know, but as mentioned his range from fresh prince to 13 pounds (that movie gave me the major feels) is notable. Plus I always found "Hancock" entertaining. |
|
Chameleon type actor? Chappelle. No contest. I know his stuff is geared for comedy standup and skits, but the guy can blend. The man played a racist, blind Klansman, to a T.
Never paid Denzel much attention until i saw Training Day. Since that film he has joined a small group of favorites, of whom i make I make it a point to see movies they star in. He doesn't go as chameleon as some i like, but he is good. |

Quoted: I used to like all of those actors and more, but between BLM and NFL, I really don't care to see any of them anymore. I feel that they would all hate me if they met me because I am white. The past year has ruined me on black people. I hate it because I have family that are black, and are really nice people, but I just don't trust any of them anymore. Don Cheedle was great in Hotel Rawanda and Traffic I thought.
My favorite actor is Keith David but his catalog isnt as emmy award caliber. |
|
Ossie Davis's portrayal of JFK was the most convincing performance I've ever seen.
Next to Bruce Campbell as The King. |
|
Always liked Sydney Poitier, but I think Denzel Washington has a much greater body of work.

Based on the poll options, Samuel by a landslide.
But in reality Morgan would be the best. |
|
Bill Cosby, obviously.
Acted like he was a kindly old grandfather, but was a Rapist the whole time! Denzel is the most memorable. |
|
Quoted: Smith tore the guts out of prime time America that one time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI4Mv8R0mE0 View Quote Oof. That hurt. And I can't even relate. But the way he tries to play off the whole thing, but even a couple sentences in you can tell it's a front, and just comes apart right at the end there...right in the feels. Hard. |
|
Not that I like categorizing people but I'd vote Denzel Washington or Morgan Freeman.
They can make any character compelling. |

Total poll fail.
Keith David for Platoon, Marked for Death, The Thing, and They Live. |

I have a hard time finding a Denzel movie I don't love.
Man on Fire Training Day Hijacking phelem 123 So many more. He's fantastic. Morgan is up there too. |

Quoted: Laurence Fishburne. He's played a lot of very different characters and is great in pretty much everything he does. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/36/ed/6c/36ed6cd88042076962952df66e25da70.jpg View Quote He was 14 years old when he started on the cast of apocolyspe now. |

Not Samuel L. Jackson.
He plays the same character in every movie. Denzel or Will Smith are both good choices of those listed. |

View Quote Man, Dave Chappelle is up there with the people I've laughed at until I couldn't breathe any more. There was gonna be more to that post, but I pulled up this video in the background What Makes White People Dance (feat. John Mayer & Questlove) - Chappelle’s Show And my white ass forgot what I was thinking when I listened to the guitar stuff. |

Don Cheadle is better than some on your list. No Morgan Freeman? The presented list is worthless...

Quoted: Dude. Lumping all black people in with those racist movements is like going after all gun owners every time there's a mass shooting. Lumping all black people in with those racist movements is like going after all gun owners every time there's a mass shooting. Not really. There aren't THOUSANDS of gun owners doing mass shootings. There are, however, thousands of blacks (and liberal whites) rioting, looting, and killing white and asian people for fun. Also, when there is a mass shooting, you see the gun community come out, and denounce the shooter! I have not seen a large amount of black people come out against what the black community is doing. Same way the police never come out, and denounce their officers when they do something wrong. Thin Blue Line and Thick Black Line. Sorry, I never used to judge people by the color of their skin, and never have had a problem with black people, but now it is hard not to be nervous around them. I do not trust them anymore, and I really don't care to be reminded of their antics when I am trying to escape day to day life. Now days, I have to watch my back anytime I am around black people because you never know when you may disrespect them by being white, and they decide to team up and jump you if you happen to look at them. No thanks. F all that. I try to avoid them as much as possible. And this feeling has only happened over the last year and a half after seeing how much many (if not most) hate white people. Except pretty white women...they get married to them. Again, I used to love these actors. And I still do for the most part. And I really appreciate the other poster who posted a couple of them denouncing the activity. |
