It's a Walch Navy 12 shot cap and ball  revolver in .36.  The charges are stacked on top of each other in the cylinder. One nipple leads to the first charge and the other nipple leads to the rear charge. You have to keep track of which hammer you're firing to make sure you don't fire the rear charge with the front charge still in place. Only about 200 were built. I read about it in a Louis L'Amour novel years ago and wanted one since.

I'd have to go with the full rail TRP Operator.

What is that weapon sight called?  I've never seen a holosight or red dot that size before.

Here's my AR-74, also on a special weapons lower milled out for 74 mags, using a DPMS Lo-Pro upper (for the thicker walls) and a custom stainless barrel made by Marty over at Teppo Jutsu

What was the point in going to a proprietary round for that thing? It's a neat little gun, but the proprietary ammo is a turn off for me (not like I'll ever own one).

Who did the work? That is a knockout.

My selection would be the M-249 Para-SAW. It just drips pure hate and sex. My nipples are hard right now. I'll be in my bunk...

Agreed, the shorty 249 can be the heat. Carry alot of ammo and 3 or so bbls, and you can put the hurt down on alot of dudes, with a pkg you can move long-time with.

This bitch-hog got a lot easier to move around with when I got a 100 round nutsack for it, from an AR15.com team member who was in Baghdad at the time.

On the flip side of the coin, I love a good Parker shotgun. My dream gun is a Parker BHE. And M-70's. And Smiths. I love polished blue and walnut, even though its not in style nowadays.

I have a strong desire for a S&W Mountain Gun, in stainless and walnut.

That Lathi is a beautiful gun.  I have always really liked them, but am too cheap to get one.

About 7 years ago, a friend offered me a mint Lathi in the original holster with a spare mag. His price was $900 and I passed. At the time I did some research, and as I recall the info I found was that the gun was not that reliable.  I wish I would have bought it anyway. It's a cool gun.

L35?  You fool!

M40?  Way too much!

I'm going to assume it was the L35 for now, so where did you hear they were unreliable?  They are known for their reliability and quality.  The M40 is problematic only because the Swedes intentionally used substandard steel as part of a rationing program during the war.  It proved to be a reasonable decision as the breakages didn't start showing up en masse until they got worn and especially when hot 9mm subgun ammo made its appearance.

L35s and early M40s had a bolt accelerator that was supposed to assisted in reliability.  The Swedes found that it worked fine without it and dropped it.  Here is the one in my early M40 (sloshed in tetra gun grease).
