What do you like best and why?
|
|
any kind of thin/shoestring...seasoned or not
thick cut or steak fries are the absolute worst |
|
Love large cut steak fries without skin like those from Red Robin, but they could do with putting on less of their seasoning.
McDonald's fries are the best fast food fries. Can't stand thin shoestring type fries. |
|
No crinkle cut? Crinkle cut is best fry. More browned crispy surface area.

Fast food, McDonalds bar none. Restaurant Houston's sweet potatoe. Chick-Fill-A for Waffle Fries.

I go between steak fries and regular crinkle cut fries depending on my mood when I buy them. If both are sold out I'm willing to take most anything as a substitute. Shoestring are at the bottom of my list, they dry out too fast(usually before they're done cooking).

Sweet Potato fries with some salt, cayenne pepper seasoning, and a pinch of sugar.

Now that I've eaten them, the resistance is gone. I remember liking them until my dad told me what I was eating. I'd eat them again. |

You make a good Texan. Over in Allen, there's an In-N-Out one block over from a Whataburger. I grab a Double-Double (Animal style) at the In-N-Out, then swing by the Whataburger drive thru for the fries and that ketchup they season with crack. Livin' the dream. |

McDonalds by far. Even better when they were pre-fried in beef tallow.

Arby's curly fries for fast food. I do like me some potato wedges too.

There's is no one correct answer. Different types of fries go well with different things.

Nathan's French fries and onion rings in my deep fryer are the best.

First choice----Popeye's Cajun fries with their redbeans poured over them.
Second Choice---Poutine |
