Here's real median income from 1990 through 2022.

Trump was flat out better for the average American than Obama, Biden and Bush Jr. by a considerable margin.

People forget that it was Democrats top loading the budget too.  Trump’s argument was if they’re gonna spend like drunken sailors, the taxpayers should be getting it back as subsidies instead of spending it on commie pet projects…he still made them look like the shitbags they are

Not really, because GHWB rode the same wave that Clinton did. I just didn't bother to state it since it was fairly obvious, and he was just a sort-of continuation of Reagan.

He was a hell of a lot better than what we would have had with Mondale/Ferraro so I'm not complaining, but you do you.

Reagan was good enough for the economy that Clinton was able to ride the wave for his entire term with his policies only crashing the market at the very end, and then again in 2007.

You skipped a President.

I'd say he was sort-of the precursor to clinton.

Imagine how much better off we'd be if Trump was still in.

Na, he'd be issuing tariffs left and right forcing production in the U.S. and giving corporations an excuse to raise prices even higher...................benefitting the 1% of course.

Why were things so much better under Trump then?

Because Trump was riding Obama's residuals

The economy was slipping in a lot of the country at the end of obama's tenure.

I love republicans using the term Bidenomics after claiming Ronnie was such a great President. Reagenomics wasn’t exactly great for the working class but we still have to believe he was such a great President.

Revisionist history.

Reagan was awesome for the working class.
Contrary to common Democrat belief, Democrat policies are terrible for everyone, especially the working class.

Democrats sneaking items through by burning them deep in the pages of bills/laws was a thing even in 1986.

It’s a fact that bumpstocks are on TRUMP, but, hang  in there.

In 40 years someone who’s presently wearing diapers will be lamenting the lack of bumpstocks, and saying how better off the country world is because Democrats stole every election after 2016.

I did. It’s called research not blindly believing the republicans who wish everyone could go back to the 80s. It’s why trump isn’t going to win. People don’t want to go back to the 80s because we have a lot more information about how it was.

They're hurting bad and moving in with each other so their food stamps and EBT can go longer. They're pissed at Biden's economy.

Ah yes. They smart come backs to people who don’t like what they’re hearing.  It is still funny hearing republicans use the term as if it wasn’t an insult from the Reagan years.  “Good for me but not for thee” which explains why republicans are going to lose this election again.

More debt than any President until Obama. Someone had to pay for it, right? Tax breaks for the rich really helped the middle class with trickle down economics. Yeah this was a great guy. At least he did that thing with those union guys in the airport.

LOL.

Reagan won 49 states.  The only state he didn't win was infested with socialist Finns.

This just shows how much people didn’t like the previous guy. Republicans haven’t done this since. Actually no one has and literally no one thinks it was rigged back then. Shocking.

Wait, what?  Reagan wasn't the best on everything but lower taxes (the linchpin of Reaganomics) isn't helpful to the working class?

Don't worry scro, lots of tards live great lives now....

Yeah, this is where I started the research. Later I found out he created more debt than any President other than Obama. Such a good Republican with the spending and lowering taxes so we couldn’t pay off any of that debt. So conservative.

Wait, the dems are currently in charge of an economic and societal train wreck and you think it's good for the dems?

I lived through carter, Reagan and the current bozo in charge.  There is no comparison to which years were better for the working man.  I don't care what the commie books you are reading say.

One thing that HASN'T changed since last year:
Prices for used brass.

I don't have the aptitude to reload so I save most of my used brass, rimfire being excepted.

Last year I sold 67 pounds at $2.10 per pound.
THIS year I sold only 61 pounds.  Still got $2.10 per pound.

You really don't have a clue and sound just like democrats during the GWB years when they again railed against "tax breaks for the rich."

Those tax breaks were meant to stimulate the economy, which they did...in spades. I'm just a small business owner, but due to those tax breaks, I was able to buy two trucks (made in Kentucky), two trailers (made in Indiana), and three power trowels (made in Wisconsin). Who ultimately benefited from those tax breaks? It was working class people, the kind of people democrats hate to see do well.

Apparently, those people don't rate with you, either.
