back then, lasers weren't diodes.. they were TUBES... and needs lots of power to run...
back when terminator/predator st came out, i had 1, it ran on 12v, this was when i was in school we would go up to the big local football stadium the high schools used, and parked near by... as the kids would walk across the street to MC-D's we would put a red dot on there back... the kids walking behind them would see it and hilarity would ensue!... they would be running, diving into bushes, trying to make it into MC'd's... 1 kid was ordering his food, and thought he had escaped... we put it threw the window on his back, his buddy spotted it, told him, and he dove for the ground, the dude taking his order was like WTF!... |

Thought Alien Nation had a 454 with a laser sight used by James Caan character. Was just a pistol scope. Faulty memory.
What is sad is....I searched Alien Nation thinking, "What was that...1998? Naw...1994?" Try 1988. Son of a bitch. Todays lesson that I am getting old.
