Joseph says the shirt caused a reaction every few minutes as he walked through the streets of New York City. 
You could walk down the street in NY with a shirt depicting clowns chopping up women without anyone commenting on it. I need a "caucasians" shirt to wear to the yacht club, though. |

Back in the 90's all the urban kids wore shirts that said "it's a black thang, you wouldn't understand"
one day, my friend jimmy showed up at school with a shirt that said "it's a white thing (and we know how to spell it". Poor jimmy got his ass kicked for that.
