They are both fine examples of 70's cinema, and neither one could be made today. As a great admirer of both, I have to say that Blazing Saddles is a superior comedy. This takes nothing away from the cinematic genius of Samuel L. Bronkowitz. I did cream in my jeans thanks to "Catholic High School Girls in Trouble".

Blazing Saddles was funny when I was in my early teens. Today not so much. It's geared for low brain cell type of people.I tried to watch it last year and I made it about 10 minutes. Definitely 70's humor.
