Ok, I give up.  What is that roasted, kinda nutty / almost almond sorta flavor in there?

Had to hit Walgreens a minute ago, and was lured by the siren song of this stuff.  Holy hell I am well on my way to eating the whole container.

Its crack, I can only buy the small containers otherwise I'd eat the whole gallon in one sitting.

Dude I eat that shit with smashed up nilla wafers or a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast at work.

Artificial flavors? Don't give a FUCK.

It's more expensive than most other ice-creams, but if you're going to eat something unhealthy, you might as well eat the good stuff.  Bluebell is really, good.

Promised Land dairy in Floresville was good too, but I think they stopped making Ice-cream awhile back.

Damn, now I am going to have to get up and get me a bowl.

I literally feel sorry for the people in the parts of the country that can't get blue bell ice cream.  Their Home Made Vanilla is hands down the best store bought ice cream out there.

There is only one true ice cream, and it is Blue Bell.

And it's made in TX.

B&J's, Breyers, Dreyers, Baskin-Robbins, everything else, and all that gelato crap can EADAD.

Blue Bell has that same addicting, mysterious, secret ingredient also found in Krispy Kreme doughnuts. meth, and cocaine.

Odorless, tasteless, colorless, but alarmingly addicting.

The only Homemade Vanilla brand better is Hiland Dairy.

Either one needs to be put on a piping-hot brownie and served.  Its sooooo good.  I'm gaining weight thinking about it.

Vaguely Related - Blue Bunny ice cream sandwiches are da bomb!

Frozen rock hard, smooth sweet cream with good crunchy cookies.... Best served as desert after spicy barbeque ribs and fresh corn on the cob.

You and I are probably the only two here that have had Hiland Dairy.

Jason's deli salad bar brownies with their soft serve on top is pretty fucking good too.

No Blue Bell in Iowa

The shoppette on base had it.  When I was in the dorms I'd kill a half-gallon every weekend.  The cookie-dough variety was awful dang good.

I need to find an A&M group around here so I can eat Blue Bell and play 42.

Whenever I have a scoop of that ivory treasure, it takes me back to grandma's house before school came along. She would fix me a bowl every now and then and put the food coloring of my choice in it. Memories like that keep me happy.

Not sure if they still do it, but for several years I would send two gallons on dry ice to friends (dislocated Texans) in other states on their birthdays. It was ~$50 from their website and you could choose any combination of their flavors. Blue Bell is simply the best...current personal favorite is Moo-llennium Crunch.

That's wrong.

Propylene glycol is non-toxic and NOT used in automotive applications.  You are confusing it with the toxic Ethylene glycol.

Yup. I'm pretty sure propylene glycol is used for constipation.
