My take, Bon Scott, but the BiB album is equal to all the work Scott did. So it's a warsh.

Thanks for involving me brother.
Your take is essentially mine.
My favorite era is with no doubt, Bon's era.
HOWEVER my favorite album of all times ACROSS ANY GENRE is Back in Black.
So I have this probably unique position.I am not sure if people know that I have been working with AC/DC since 2014.
While this doesn't put me necessarily on any higher opinion ladder level,
I really know my AC/DC.
My take is that Bon was a poet; he was a true artist, and he was part of the original core of ACDC.
Brian had a very different voice - that unfortunately he lost quickly - and while I acknowledge him everything,
my favorite "era" still lies with Bon.
Studio wise, most of the "research" for great sound ended with Mutt Lange (1981)
All in all we are very fortunate to have such an amazing catalog.
Rock on!

PS Just a few months ago, I have been asked by a marketing agency to re-create 11 among the most successful and well known tracks of AC/DC.
So I just set out to do so and I produced, and essentially played all guitars and bass on the following linked album.
Two singers were involved to re-create, both Bon and Brian.
Lyrics were fully rewritten in a comedy fashion that I think some of you may enjoy.
