If you are going to run away and say it is to highlight fucked-up leadership... you can do that on the FOB (without leaving the wire) without too much trouble. Just go to the CSH and say your CO told you to help out for the next few weeks because of light duty. No one is going to ask a single question. In the Army, OCONUS, it is pretty easy to get absorbed into details/ assist in shops around the area without a lot of questions getting raised.
Shit, you can tag along on a convoy or a helo to another base and just disappear there. So, what a shitload of bull from that asswipe. |
