I watched an interview with him on one of the major networks and the way he caged his answers made him seem about as accomplished a lawyer as Lionel Hutz,virtually everything he said would be torn apart on cross examination and should have been had the interviewer not just been tossing softballs for salaciousness. I know Trump only surrounds himself with the best people but this guy isn't nearly as clever as he thinks he is.
At some point,Trump will be probably be found guilty of something. I can't remember the saying but "X felonies per day" holds true of everyone. However,that's not really the goal and the Mueller investigation isn't actually about finding wrongdoing at this point,it's about prolonging everything until the 2020 election. I find it comical that this is what the US government has come to but it's like seeing pictures of Detroit and laughing...it's really not very funny because who will fill the void as America declines is no laughing matter. |

I read the CNN article. Apparently they're saying that Buzzfeed got this info from two different law enforcement sources and that the main source of info is Cohen but that there are also emails and interviews with others who corroborate the evidence.
No mention as to who the "law enforcement" officials are, if they are a part of Mueller's team of Democratic donor hitmen, partisan FBI hacks, or just rank and file members. (My guess is if they are illegally leaking this info, they are one of the two former). I do notice that Schiff is saying this is "very serious" and Mr. I was found criminally contempt for withholding info but didn't leave office (Eric Holder) are saying this is an impeachable offense. Interesting for a guy who got caught lying and got overwhelmingly nailed in a criminal proceeding for it to be advocating for someone else to get impeached for the same thing. In essence, they're saying the "crime" is that he told Cohen to lie. That's what this boils down to. Not that any of this occurred, because we all know it occurred. It's been reported to have occurred for months/years. They're saying this "key inflection point" is that Trump told someone to lie. That's the crime. That's what this horrible thing is about. Not that he wanted to have a business deal with Russia. We already know that. Not that it got called off (likely due to optics). Not that it was called off later than we initially thought it was. We know all this. The "crime" is that he told someone to lie about a date. Not that it occurred, simply when it occurred. Holy shit, Hillary should be in jail for 20 consecutive lifetimes if that's now the bar for such a horrendous offense. |
