As a bona fide fat lazy bastard, I never though I'd say this... but the eating/drinking portion of this event would be what did me in... that much sugar at once... just thinking about it makes me throw up in my mouth a little. You guys are truly the warrior elite, and I salute you.

If someone is near or passing through the Tullahoma, TN area, I'll gladly donate a bottle or two of hooch from my store to this noble contest.

Well guys, due to a scheduling conflict, I guess there will be a new Cola Warrior Champion this year.

A week earlier or later and I'd have made it. Going to miss seeing you guys this year and it looks like there are several more saying they're making the trip for the first time, that are on my list of Arfcommers I'd like to meet.

RA, when it gets closer to the time, let me know what the approximate head count is and I will sponsor by supplying the Peeps again. If I can't be there in person to crush their spirits, I can at least add to their misery by making sure there are plenty of Peeps to be vomited up. I'm thinking pink, blue and purple this year.

I apologize to anyone if I messed up their schedule but there was a bunch of issues that came up about the date, I hope since this thread has only been up a few hour no one went out and bought tickets or anything!

I think previously, I had been one of the furthest at 694 mi, but you definitely have me beat on distance. Casual Observer had a pretty long drive from deep in Texas the first year and HKHamartia might be coming in from NY this year.

How does everything work? Accommodations, food, etc?? How hot is it in May in MS? I can pitch a tent if its not to hot.

Food is bring your own, though usually some awesome person brings a ton of crawfish/oysters/grill etc. I have microwave and oven in the cabin anyone can use.

You can stay in the unfurnished cabin, but its first come first serve. Most people camp out in tents.

15 hours and over a thousand miles, and I'm really thinking about going. I'll have the time. My Step-brother lives outside of Beaumont, TX and I've never been to his place, even with a standing invite. I could re-civilize my self there a day or two and head back.
