I’d like a traditional style 92g centurion. No light rails with checkered front and real straps
And dovetailed front sights I’d buy 3 |

Grew up in the 80's and have wanted a 92 since I was a kid after seeing Lethal Weapon, Die Hard etc. Finally decided to pull the trigger on one last weekend so I headed to the local Sportsmans Warehouse only to find that they were sold out. Only had the M9 in stock which Im not interested in. We have a local gun show in a couple weeks so Im going to see if I can grab one there.

Quoted: Fact. I didn’t even realize there was a difference until a few years ago but I’m glad my 92fs has the straight. View Quote I had a slanted one and lived in blissful ignorance. I read a thread here and never looked at it the same. I had to sell it. I bought this 1992 mfg date of the EE last year. Attached File |

Quoted: Ill take an M9 over a late model 92fs anyday simply because the angled dustcover looks like dogshit. No reason to pass up the M9, they look more like the 80's action movies 92Fs anyway, because those all had straight dustcovers. |

The difference in dust covers came about when Beretta made the 96 .40cal.
The frames of the 92 and 96 are the same and are made on the same tooling, they found that the 96 was beating the frame up a bit more than 9mm and so they decided to leave a bit more material there to prevent that from cracking in the 96's. Because they make both frames on the same tooling, that change (Slanted dust cover), was carried over to the 9mm 92's as well. |

Have a Taurus PT92 from about 2005, I guess right as they added the rail.
First handgun purchase and couldn't afford the Beretta. I have recorded all my rounds up until I bought my second and third pistol, and so on. Then sort of lost count. Currently she's got over 12k rounds on original parts (minus springs). She wears a factory Beretta threaded barrel and my Omega9k. Attached File When do military surplus start hitting the streets though, I'd like a true Die Hard and Lethal Weapon pistol for sure. |

It's subtle, but perfect. |

if that is a compact model, link please? |

I heard the beretta 92 style trigger was designed by a gun control advocate to save lives. With such a long trigger pull it gives the guy on the wrong end time enough time to get away.

Dont own one....but think it's one of the sexiest if not the most sexiest hand guns out there.

I’ve got a 92FS with G conversion I love, and definitely going to pick up a 92X Centurion GR when I can find one.

Just picked up a used Centurion today. Had a 92FS some years back, but stupidly sold it.
This one stays. |

You Centurion owners, who makes a good OWB leather holster for this type of firearm ?

Have carried a few, and own a few. My oldest is an Inox 92FS I bought back in 1998, and I really need to dig it out and start carrying it again.
I’m wearing my M9A3 at the moment. Easily one of my favorite pistols of all time. |

View Quote I have a G consersion, on a pistol with a LTT trigger in a bag job. The decock works on the ejection side of the gun 100%. On the other side, it’s about 90%, and you sometimes have to do it twice. Any ideas on why or how to correct that? |

Berettas are addictive. Found a 92 Compact no rail on the EE and am now waiting for it to arrive at my FFL.
Gonna hit up Ryan Grizzle for a nice IWB holster and then carry the hell out of it. |
