Trudeau tested "positive" for COVID on 31st Jan 2022 having received the booster shot on 4th Jan (triple vaxed).
14 days in quarantine gets him to 14/15 Feb. Parliament sits until Friday 18th Feb. 21st-25th Feb is covered by diplomacy events before sitting recommences Mon 28th Feb. Trudeau will make some excuse as to why he can't attend the sitting from 15th-18th and be out of sight during the diplomacy events. He's banking he can make it until Mon 28th Feb before returning to parliament. Canadians should be pushing hard for his return for sitting 15th/16th/17th/18th Feb. These dates may be critical to the outcome and goals of the freedom convoy. There needs to be a build up of peaceful protestors towards these dates and a series of secondary rapidly scaleable protests at key logistics points pre-planned for around this time. |

View Quote I read his thread. Seems like he's trying to think but he calls this problem with the truckers an outside context problem. Outside context problem: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OutsideContextProblem "An Outside Context Problem was the sort of thing most civilisations encountered just once, and which they tended to encounter rather in the same way a sentence encountered a full stop." — Iain M. Banks, Excession The Outside Context Problem is, quite simply, a curveball that no one saw coming; more strictly, it is a curve ball that nobody could possibly have seen coming. I'll bet you most of arf and most everyone to the right of mao in canada and the usa saw the announcement of the vaccine mandates for the truckers and instantly thought something along the lines of "this will not end well and the truckers may go on strike." You have to be in a very thick bubble to have not seen a pushback from the truckers coming. That makes me wonder about the guy who made the twitter posts you linked. Doesn't make what he said wrong, but I find the idea of "nobody could have seen anything like this coming" risible. |

"this is a massive failure of the state". Fuck yes it is. And it's glorious! I think Castro's kiddo's narcissism is wounded badly, he's just beside himself, in denial, and was hoping to '"Wait it out". Now he's realizing they aren't going away. He's sort of "stuck", but he hates them, he's on The Good GuysTM team, the side of The ScienceTM and who cares if those truckers get hurt by the jabs, or lose their jobs, or lose their homes, etc. But in terms of "noticing that things went bad and things broke down", I'm going to take a step back here and take the contrarion view. 1) Any actual enemy that had this kind of manpower (50,000 people) if it was a hostile nation, would be casually met with the military, and likely the US, Lockmart and all the other contractors getting massively erect at the mere thought 2) So in order to NOT draw a big ass military response, it has to drop in terms of damage. "Ruthless barbarians" already DON'T get punished, IF They're lefty causes, as we found out from BLM/Antifa, wrecking cities for an entire summer. "Things might exploited!" they already were. And we suffered for it, it costed billions of dollars. 2b) "And what if an area just got occupied, and, then the authorities couldn't do anything about it-" Google "no go zones". Again. It's happened. 3) If it was a different 50,000 person force that did this, and they were right wingers, but things got froggy? Again if it got bad enough, .mil gets involved, and team blue gets what they openly fantasize about. The .mil being turned on the "Doesn't use the pronouns" people. 4) "Thousands of people can do bad things and if it stays below a certain level of mayhem, then what?" Ah this isn't new - look at what happens when rowdy sports fans flip cars and light things up after a big win/loss. This has always existed. TBH I think their final point was accidentally erroneous, the more I think about it? This is a one off. This is a special situation at the moment as they're obnoxious but peaceful, their goals and wants are narrow but clear, they are recruiting from allll walks off life to be heard. The movement grew as it went on, and stayed peaceful thusfar. Again the goals stayed narrow, save for opposing King Castro, it's not been a political party purity thing, it's asking for 2 policy issues to be undone. And as I keep harping on in thread after thread: It's the media-televangelist watching cityfolk who supported these politics (because their lives were unaffected) who are now finding out that the countryfolk were suffering and unhappy. Their TV told them no one felt that way. Their bubble is being popped by a truckhorn symphony. |

Bahahahha.... Overview The temporary Ontario Staycation Tax Credit for 2022 aims to encourage Ontario families to explore the province, while helping the tourism and hospitality sectors recover from the financial impacts of the COVID-19covid 19 pandemic. Ontario residents can claim 20% of their eligible 2022 accommodation expenses, for example, for a stay at a hotel, cottage or campground, when filing their personal Income Tax and Benefit Return for 2022. Their TV told them no one felt that way. Their bubble is being popped by a truckhorn symphony. And the way out is clear, open, and doable. Utter bare minimum: repeal and don't do the trucker mandate. Though, since the government has shown that they are weak and dithering cowards, the protesters may not let them off that easily anymore. The people in the government/media complex know that their useful idiots and fellow thinkers who make up their voting base are afraid of covid, and may be terrified at the thought of the government not forcing others to bow to that fear and live according to it. I think if this continues to play out, it will be a theater of the fear that the government-media complex's astroturfed into existence, fighting with the protestors not accepting that fear and not wanting to live lives shackled by that fear. Post-omicron wave that fear is more and more irrational (I hope and pray it keeps being irrational). |

The people are petitioning their government peacefully and have basically parked cars on some roads around the capitol and that is a serious threat to the long term security of the state. They are paralyzed at the C2 level because they know they are fucked and in a catch 22. They can't sit back and do nothing or they look even more inept, and they can't confront the protesters because that would reinforce the point that the protesters are making and turn even more people against the government. It's glorious.
