The local news made a big deal of this this morning.
Some kind of the queen is so awesome human interest angle. Can you believe it, she used a sword! How awesome, there was a knife right there, but she used a sword. With much fake cajooling and glee from the news anchors. Yeah, no shit, that's why there was a ceremonial sword next to a cake. It was three for her to cut the cake with. Not the first time. It's a common occurrence for ceremonial cakes with some type of military component or association. Kate, or whatever the young girls name is needs to learn something. |
