Did you listen to him in the debates and in interviews?

Some people are VERY VERY good in their particular area but don't know much outside of that particular field. Some brilliant engineers seem brain dead to the rest of the world, for example.

You don't necessarily need a neurosurgeon filling the health and human services cabinet slot. You just need someone who is a good administrator that has some familiarity with things related to the field of medicine.

I think he got tired of the political bullshit and wanted a break, he said he would be there to help as needed but he didn't want to commit to an actual position that would have obligated him.
