I wonder if the hackers can get to his launch guidance system and change the course of his next launch to China or Russia That would take care of our problem with the NORKS, either one of those two can use their ordnance to F him up and we can sit back and laugh.

View Quote SEOUL – NK News has obtained exclusive photos of Saturday’s “Victory Day” parade showing close-up details of North Korea’s military that tell a very different story from the sterner file photos distributed by international media. The high resolution photos paint a different portrait to the straight-faced, goose-stepping and robotic soldiers normally associated with North Korean military parades. These images were taken minutes after the convoy passed the main square, showing the excitement of the soldiers and adding a more human touch. They also reveal telling clues about the state of some of North Korea’s most advanced weaponry. NK News has learnt that North Korean officials said that the “nuclear backpacks” seen at Saturday’s parade contain hazardous materials suits — not miniaturized nuclear weapons, as some media have suggested.Hazardous suits are impermeable whole-body garments, normally worn as protection during times of radioactive, chemical or biological contamination.Commentators at Armscontrolwonk.com also speculated that the bags could contain “repackaged DP-5B geiger counters,” a Soviet-era device used commonly to detect radiation after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. But the bottom line, however, is that there is healthy cause for skepticism about what could be in these bags — even with close up pictures.“Everyone wants to make news about these, however, what they contain is pure speculation…They could barely contain a mask and protective overalls. In reality, it is likely that they are simply stuffed with paper or rags,” said Korean People’s Army (KPA) expert Joseph Bermudez, Jr, in an email to NK News.“Readers need to understand is that the North Koreans know that we look at every little detail and try to gain intelligence from it. So at times they do things to ‘mess with our heads,'” Bermudez cautioned. |

We were supposed to attack them or at least have a few precision missiles take out a few weapons factories after they detonated that nuke.
They called our bluff. They will continue to escalate, provoke, and advance their weapon technologies without ever bombing a US city. They want to be perceived as a powerful militaristic state and they will keep showboating and walking that line until they are satisfied. You know Kim is sitting there with a big fucking smug smile on his face. In his mind, he's succeeding at bullying the "bully". He's probably quite satisfied with himself and I bet he wants more. A lot more. |

No. I posted this in one of the other threads. What I think we're seeing: a race to the finish line. To get the keys to the nuclear clubhouse, a country needs to demonstrate A) a working nuclear weapon that's B) small & robust enough to be deliverable with C) a working platform (plane, ICBM, SLBM, etc.). If they had a nuke, but nothing to deliver it with, who cares, right? If they have an awesome ICBM, but no nuke to put on it, all they have is a really expensive lawn dart. All of those things involve testing of the individual components, then testing as a system, to achieve an operational capability. Lil Kim knows we'd never let him get away with any kind of long-term testing program to get to his goal. So, he's jamming all his final developmental tests into a really short time frame, in an effort to saturate the decision-making processes of his adversaries. If he gets his tests done quickly enough, one after another, then boom, he's now demonstrated the capability before his adversaries can come up with a response. He's at first and goal on the 2 yard line. He's just got to do a couple of sprints at the end to make it happen, he's hoping to do that in a blitz before the opposition organizes a good defense. My bet: one or two more launches, at least one more nuke test (intel says he's getting ready to do both), then a major announcement on Sept 9 that they have a nuclear capability. (Sept 9th is their independence day.) View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
