Well, someone made things work for them I guess. Actually, I understand the idea behind it. As a taller guy I have decided I will one day have one up high or out of the ceiling. Gonna try for the fancy non hillbilly look though.

Needs more duct tape.
Edit: Also need insulation on the PVC pipe to keep the water hot on its long trip to the shower head. |

Looks like the rig one of our clients put in King Fahd's private 747 back in the 1980s
Fahd was something like 6'7" and hated stooping in the shower to get wet 747s have only got so much room to work with Yeah, it cost millions |

It was well worth it. We put one of those large rain head type shower head on |

I can't say shit, I built a monstrosity out of 1/2" brass to raise the shower head in my bathroom at my parents place while I was in college. My dad saw it and got all pissed off about how it looked like shit....then proceeded to do the same to thing in his and mom's shower a week later after using it
