What I find interesting is no trigger pins, either an HK style trigger pack or a cassette style, yet it looks like it take an AR grip.

What is the story with the optics with the group photo? Thermal? NODs look like they are running off a powerpack, clean wiring set up too NOD mount looks potentially suspect 5.8 x 42 cartridge |

Too bad we can't buy one. Chinese weapons are not the same level as rubber dog shit they sell to the west.
It's most likely an upgrade to the Type-03 rifle. Kind of like the Galil Ace is. Type-03

Chicoms can build very nice guns and have been able too since at least the 80s. They make some of the best AKs ever imported. People talking shit because the last chinese plastic doohickey they bought from Walmart broke on the first use have probably never used a Chinese made rifle.
I have one from /416\ and wish I had many more! |

I'm curious about the eye gear. Guessing IR NV. Noticed the foregrip on the rifles have what looks like some sort of laser or illuminator. If battery is in the foregrip, that's a slick idea. On/off likely on that same peg.

Internally is really interesting...
That bolt carrier is very similar to an AR/M16, trigger components look similar (hook on hammer and auto sear placement makes sence if youre using an AR type carrier)... Buffer tube, nothing new US wise still doing that. Buffer appears to be similar using a floating weight inside. Short stroke gas piston, but placed low to the barrel to avoid carrier tilt. Stock extends using a tooth intersecting with bottom of buffer tube. Where it gets weird is the lower hinge mechanism is more akin to a SIG 550 type rifle... Maybe to make AK mags easier to use?
