Not seeing what it is a copy of, ironically that comment about china copying things is getting copied from other threads, lol.
AR15 style pins on the lower 7.62x39 style magazine and cartridge adjustable gas block some sort of galil and ak12 inspired furniture SCAR inspired buttstock surveillance state inspired VFG accessory |

Nice looking carbine, seems like they are improving, that is not a good thing.

Quoted: Oh look, the Chinese copied the 416 and the SCAR. View Quote I think we've reached the point with rifles where they are all pretty much some version of either an AR design, an AR180 design or an AK design. The SCAR, ACR, MCX, are all pretty much based on the AR180. This rifle is intresting. It shows a shift in their approach to combat. They have embraced optics and clearly built a rifle set up to use optics vs their old QBZ-95 rifle that had a 12" height over bore with the optic mounted. It was very clearly an after thought. They have also changed their manual of arms completely with a traditional style rifle vs older bullpup design. Attached File |

Quoted: Oh look, the Chinese copied the 416 and the SCAR. View Quote But on appearance it looks like they did a cleaner more streamlined job. Evolution of known technology, a reshuffle of known tech. Evolution does happen slowly. There is no reason that there would not be previously developed technology in it. The format looks pretty good. |

Quoted: Chicoms can build very nice guns and have been able too since at least the 80s. They make some of the best AKs ever imported. People talking shit because the last chinese plastic doohickey they bought from Walmart broke on the first use have probably never used a Chinese made rifle. I have one from /416\ and wish I had many more! View Quote This. The AK triggers were always smoother than the Eastern Bloc imports. |

Let's be honest, all you silly geese would buy one and as many cases of 5.8 as you could in a heartbeat if there was no import ban.
I fucking would. |

Look at all those Magpul design details.... they can’t have an original thought to save their lives

So China comes up with something new and cool, but not a single fucking US manufacturer can make anything other than a $500 AR15. Ok.

The rending of garments over "dEy AlWaYs CoPyInG tHiNgS" is amusing: If you had a MASSIVE military (manpower wise) and needed weapons platforms quickly and needed to spend a majority of your capital on the weapon, NOT R&D, what would you do? The more money you save on R&D means more rifles, missiles, aircraft, etc...
Also, the companies producing arms and weapon systems are VASTLY different enterprises than Plant #17 in Chenzou producing rubber dog shit. It's akin to another country calling Raytheon or Colt Manufacturing shit because our country also houses Ford/Dodge/Chevy. Ethnocentrism and complacency have bred decadence in US society and it will be our downfall... |

Fuck China but the US has copied its share of foreign designs. As long as it gives my soldiers an edge on offense or defense I wouldn’t give a crap who the original designer was. Best part is if you defeat your enemy then you can rewrite history and it won’t matter who developed what.

it is black so not good for night vision grip pod snort
I bet Gissele did not even make the trigger and the red dot batteries are only good for 3 years what a piece of 1999 era junk |

Quoted: I hope they rushed this one out like the last one (they wanted to look cool reclaiming Hong Kong from the brits) so it has glaring defects. Doesn’t look like it does so far though. Fuck China. View Quote While it certainly has issues that could have been solved with more development, it has some good features as well. For starters...wow, it punches armor like a champ... It is short for barrel length...and it is pretty reliable under harsh conditions. It has accuracy issues but they did stupid things like not crown the barrels...so it could be fixed. All in all...the old rifle could be made better pretty easy. |

cool looking rifle and they gathered some really fit guys to be in the pic. It may be a great gun, gun technology isn't secret.

Quoted: Im more curious about their nightvision View Quote Me too. China has been jumping in the NV game stronk. It will drive prices down on domestic NV once the China stuff starts getting sold more and more here. While there are a ton of fuck China bros there a whole lot more who will buy Chinese NV. Like supressors and body armor, I hope to see the price drop dramatically on NV as they become more abundant and more innovation takes place. |

Nice photo op, no dirt, no dust, looks like they have lots of real world training
