In b4 trump guys start talking about how great Christie cream is.

Is Trump purposely trying to make it as difficult as possible to get people to vote for him? Because, if so, he is doing a great job.

This is a battle for the soul of the party essentially. The old party has been rejected by the voters, and rightfully so. All they care about is foreign policy, internationalism, and appeasing the Chamber of commerce....ceding over the culture war and other key issues in the process. If Trump loses, they deserve to be taken to the woodshed for failing to get behind the will of their base....which is becoming very obvious that they never gave a shit about to begin with. |

You are posting in the wrong thread. Nope, this started in the middle of this thread, when someone posted Taylor was going to come over and give him a blow job! As far as Christy Trump isn't going to pick him for VP It might have gone over your head. I was pointing out the dubious nature of a so-called "source" from the original article. Article. It's more of a throwaway paragraph followed by a rehash of a recap. |

Quoted: Then tell us who the viable alternative is that you are supporting. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: That's typical of the Branch Trumpidian/Mangohead point of view. No NY progressive Democrat is worthy, IMO. That means both the Mango and the Muncher are unworthy. Then tell us who the viable alternative is that you are supporting. I am actively supporting no candidate this time. The Mango sucks. The Muncher sucks a little more, allegedly, if you trust Mango's conversion on the 2A (which I do not). Not sure for whom I will vote. Maybe Mango. Maybe Mickey Mouse. Honestly, I like Mickey's supporters immeasurably more than I like the Mango's. We'll see. I'm assured that the Mango does not need my vote, in any case. |

Being vetted doesn't mean he is the choice, just one person among a list of possibilities. I highly doubt Christie will be the selection. NBC is now reporting that Indiana governor Mike Pence is also being considered for the VP slot. My guess is that in the coming days there will be a whole bunch of names being thrown out as possible VP choices. It would probably be advisable to just chill out and wait until Trump actually picks someone rather than going into typical GD panic mode over every little unsubstantiated rumor that gets tossed out.

Trump doesn't need Pence, he's got that fucking basketball coach. That sews up IN for him. I can agree with that. And I don't think Pence is the likely choice either. But someone like Pence is a much more likely option than Christie. I still think it will be a current/former governor from one of the key battleground states, or a well regarded senator from that same group of states. Ohio, Virginia, Florida or maybe even Pennsylvania is where I'd be focusing my attention. Three of those states have pretty much decided the outcomes of the past 4 presidential elections. You can bet that Trump and his people know this, as does Hillary's people. It wouldn't surprise me if they both end up choosing a VP candidate from that list of states. |
