I've never seen Apocalypto either.  Will have to check out.

Christmas Vacation though...guess we just aren't as cultured as some of you.

I might have to start a spreadsheet here.  Lots of familiar ones, but lots of new ones too. I don't think I have that many hours to watch all the new ones, might cut into my Arf time.

Holy shitsnacks, it's Christmas!!!  How can you have Christmas without Christ???  Add "The Passion of the Christ" to my list of Christmas movies to be watched.  Nothing like a good flagellation to get the spirit going...

Got to admit, I have never seen it-if that scene is a true indication I didn't know it was that graphic!

How the hell is Apocalypto a Christmas movie?

I thought it was another war movie (probably influenced by Apocalypto's avatar) set around Christmas until I read the description just now.

I too was going to recommend the Scrooge with Albert Finney- It's the only musical I'll watch.

Wife is really pushing through the list.  We haven't had time to sit down and watch anything in awhile, and she has made us watch Christmas Story, Muppet Christmas Carol, Elf and Arthur Christmas already. It's like she's on a mission.

I am guessing she will save White Christmas and Die Hard 1 & 2 for special family time on Christmas.

My 2yo has a train addiction. We watch Polar Express everyday starting 3 weeks ago when he saw it for the first time. Sometimes twice a day.

We watched Scrooged once too but he wasn't happy it didn't have a train in it.

Current addiction here is Chugginton.  Doesn't watch it.  Just likes the noise in the background apparently.

Obviously not strictly Christmas movies, but the holiday is a significant background element in them and adds to the atmosphere. Just about all the obvious ones have already been mentioned.

Isn't that what Dr. Phil is for? Just when I think life sucks and start to feel depressed, I watch an episode and Holy Shit! My life's great!

Phil is like Springer without fights. People talking about their problems. Some real scumbags,  lots of drug users and thieves, a whole lot of cheating spouses.

Charlie Brown Christmas

She decided today was the right day for Lethal Weapon.

As it ended, she says, I'm glad there are four of these.

Looks like another binge watch day. Light background noise as we work I guess.
