"they shoot journalists in DC" rebel forces will reach DC on July 4th air strikes on American citizens Not much to go by, but it seems the rebels might be the protagonists. They seem to have intentionally joined up the least likely states as allies so the movie doesn't address the real divides in our country. They are avoiding making it political by avoiding reality. Wouldn't surprise me at all based off the director's words that they try to claim some kind of sci-fi reason causing the break up while showing it's the right wingers who are really the bad guys to deflect from it being a "political message". |
