I'm heading up the kitchen effort this year at West. We are looking at doing a Chili cook-off as either a meal or to supplement a meal, depending how many are interested. We will have the means to reheat your chili if you prepare it ahead of time (highly recommended). Please bring your own pot with a lid and a big spoon to heat it up, stir, and serve. If you want to do it all onsite please bring the stuff you need to do that such as knife, cutting board, burner, pot, etc., in case other planned meal prep is taking place and those items are being used. Friday lunch would likely be the best time to do it to get the most participants (StonerDad will be doing Friday's dinner, so that slot is taken) There will be some swag for participants. If you're interested, please PM me or hit me up in one of the Cola Signal Chats or a private message in Signal. If you don't have any of that, but have contact with Stoner let him know and he will put you in touch with me via other means. |

A decent sized pot I guess. I’m looking at an 8 quart pot, and probably be a an inch to inch and a half from the top. I’d say that would be the minimum to make sure we have enough to feed everyone. I might do 2 entries and more entries we get the better. Was kinda thinking whoever is there for lunch gets like maybe a Dixie cup size portion or maybe slightly more to taste each entry and vote. Once votes are cast then turn people loose to get a bowl size portion for lunch. Repeat until gone or our guts are busting. Gonna be sandwiches to supplement it. |

I'm use to shorts and t shirt there and nearly froze my ass off, glad I always keep a set of cold weather clothes handy. |

If you're going to be there for Thursday night's dinner and plan on eating, bring a packet or 2 of shin black ramen, regular shin, or some kind of ramen (shin black is preferred though). Add ins will be provided if we get enough $$$ donations- shredded chicken, pork chaschu, gochujang spam, green onion, and assorted other stuffs. Probably be some grilled cheeses too since solarbear girl requested grilled cheese for every meal.
