I believe the loaner helmet came into play again, and this is the first use of the loaner soda bag that I saw.
Attached File And the bag is already trying to add penalties! Attached File Attached File Attached File Lovely helmet fit (yet again) Attached File Attached File Based on time stamps, he would have been better off taking the penalty on the obstacle, but he put in a ton of work to make sure that he completed it! Attached File Attached File Attached File Also, was the only person I saw to attempt prone pistol shooting (due to how badly worn out his arms were at this point) Attached File Attached File Attached File Even with some bonus range time (and a waiting runner), there were still some un-hit targets. And now for pictures from the Macon Armory Shoot off! One round at an unknown distance, unknown size target from a standing, unsupported position. Shooting order was based on randomly drawn names.
Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File I was sure this guy was going to make the hit considering the rifle and sling setup alone. Attached File Attached File Attached File And me, with a tactical leaf on a TA33 and Wolf Steel case ammo. I was sure the crowd was messing with me when they said I hit the target! Attached File I think there were still about 7 or 8 people that needed to shoot at this point. John decided to throw in a knife prize for the next person to make a hit, but it went for a while without that happening. I'm not sure how much was luck and how much was skill, but it was a roughly 3x12" target at 282 yards. I want to take another opportunity to say thanks to Rudy at Macon Armory for sponsoring our craziness and showing up at some events. I chose a 8.5 9mm upper that feeds from Colt mags, since I like my S&W M&P handguns and don't see adding a Glock to the collection anytime soon. Social distancing still at work with John Stoner and I. Attached File |

Thanks for the pics @dlm1984 and congrats on your one shot one kill.
After taking my shot (and missing) I bailed so I could get on the road. I heard congratulatory applause before I made it back to the main road on property. “Good timing,” I thought. |

Then the East crew headed south to New Orleans - it seemed like a different city with the corona virus shutdown.
Attached File Sampled some local food styles. Attached File And last, but not least, some after event gear and prize photos. There's an increasingly large number of sponsors to thank, so I'm just going to hit a few of them. I'll start with companies where I've met and competed against the owners and employees - Esstac and ADM being the two big names. However, I can't neglect Macon Armory, Weapon Genetics, MOA Targets, Damn Yankee Kydex, Zero Day Consulting, Tater's Welding, SPE Tactical Surplus, Keep Clear Design and Bluegrass Targets. There might be one or two others that I'm missing, and if so, I apologize for not making the connection. Then there's also the notable companies like Criterion, Craddock Precision, AIM Surplus, Forward Controls, Night Vision Incorporated, Arisaka and Dillon Precision. I may as well try to round out the list with ADW Custom Knives, Arson Machine, Cherry Balmz, MK Machining, Rebel Rifle Ordnance, Vinland Pipes, and probably a few others that I'm missing or can't quite make out from the photo below. Attached File Plus Cola bros are best bros - thanks @johnstoner and @loco_engineer for some of these! Attached File Attached File |

I think that covers the best of the daytime pictures that I have. I'll be going through my NV pictures tomorrow, but they didn't turn out that great, so I'm not expecting a huge pile.
Those of you that asked for emailed photos should get them sometime tomorrow if all goes as planned. |

You guys couldn't keep track of helmets or can size. Do you really want to try to add weights and measures on the fly?

Will post a more in depth thank you and cola swag pic but my phone died after I got home from Cola PTSD.

Man I’ve been reading about these since there was only the FEMA swamps and no other regional cola warrior and I’ve been wanting to go to one all those years. The few times I’ve been back in the states during the event itself I was gone until well after the sign up but...just in case...has that changed at all?
I don’t know what my deployment schedule will be beyond the first few months of 2021 but I’d love to get to one if I can. Is there a standby list anymore? |

I give Colavengers all my respect. Especially the shooters whose valiant attempts to defeat ColaXboss were unsuccessful. I've been there, and it is much difficult.

This fingernail is getting a little gnarly
