I carry a Rajah II and a Rajah III daily... The first non flea market knife that I was ever exposed to was a tie. Spyderco and Cold Steel (it was a small folding tanto) and they both seemed able to cut through anything. This was in 1988 or so... Have been a fan of both ever since... View Quote |

More than half of my blades are made by cold steel I think.
Mostly because I like to buy interesting things and I already have the bases covered. Behind that is kershaw I think. |

I had one of the big Voyager tantos years ago, guess it's time to replace. I'm also glad when my youngest asked for a knife of his own I bought him a Kershaw.

That guy is a nation treasure.
His videos are on par with Jerry Mickulak but more “ I dont give a fuck awesomeness”. |

I have a few CS knives, I would buy more regardless of any new videos or responses to Benchmade anti-gun. Lynn Thompson is a stand up Businessman.

This dude is scwewy as heck just like my grandpa and uncle.
I mean that in a love able way. So I think I better look to see what they have that I need. Spear, spade and hammer. |

Sal Glesser said something like how other people in the knife industry bad mouth Thompson, but back when Glesser still had a patent on the Spyderhole he got a check every month from Cold Steel, Spyderco never asked, Thompson just figured he owed Glesser so he paid without being asked. I have atleast a dozen benchmades now. Looking over the offerings of cold steel, their metal framed stuff looks pretty good and I found a few I like. I just want an American made knife. Seems like most if not all are Taiwanese.

The thing about Cold Steel is that even their ludicrous fantasy blades will still cut someone in half.

the guy gets it, if they ban knives they will eventually ban bows, arrows and knives, if they close shooting land they will eventually close it to 4x4's and camping.
We do not willingly support the enemy. Support companies that support the 2nd. |

Lynn gets a lot of shit for being fat and his over the top advertising. But he’s a serious hunter and there was a time that Cold Steel was the go to company for Marines looking for knives for deployment.
I wish him every success. |

The blades work, keep an edge and are cheap to replace if you lose them. I have them stashed everywhere, center console of the truck, kitchen drawers, desk drawers, and my right hand pockets of my jeans. |

Could be wrong but I think Kershaw owns zero tolerance. If you want a bad ass blade check out ZT.
