If you want to be a rockstar wear Club de Nuit intense. It’s 30 dollars for decent sized bottle.
I have colognes that cost $500 a bottle or more. That cheap one is my every day wear. I just got two compliments on it tonight from two nurses I work with. It is a mega compliment getter. My brother and brother-in-law were shocked when I told them the price and I bought them their own bottles. Get it. Amazon. Order away with confidence from them. You’re not going to get a counterfeits it’s not worth it for them. ETA: it’s a very fresh scent |

I have a fairly expensive cologne collection, layer fragrances, change them in different seasons, etc. the only bottle I have that costs less than $100 is Khiel's Original Musk. It's generally a warm-weather fragrance but if you need a sub-$100 cologne that's work safe year round it would do the trick.

Like someone said before, find something that smells good on you (your body chemistry). Go to one of the stores that have testers and try it, walk around in it. Ask your SO if it still smells good.
Don't overdo it. The only thing that is worse than having someone come into your office with too much fragrance on, is someone that has bad BO coming into your office. Your nose does tend to get used to smells. I wear Coach Legacy and Hermès Eau De Pamplemousse Rose. I spray some in the air in front of me and then walk through the mist. |
