Good for them. The more third world countries that can develop manufacturing economies the better.
That said it kinda looks like an Israeli Jerico to me. |

Where's it going to be priced? Because for me to be interested it would have to be significantly less than a Beretta PX-4 and those can be picked up on sale a couple of times a year for $399. And if you time it during one of Beretta's rebate periods you'll get freebies back from them, I got two free magazines and a mag pouch when I bought mine. Honestly, what's the market for this pistol outside of the Columbia military or the neighboring country's military? A quick scan of Colombia's gun laws suggests that they're not going to be selling very many to their peasantry unless they chamber it in 22 LR. Yep.

Wow does it come with all of that rust on it as standard? Or do you have to pay extra for that?

Which, from my buddies down in Bogota tell me. It is cheaper than a Glock. View Quote |

Rear sight is sitting in rust. Grip can double as entrenching tool.
Still, more pistols the better. |

Not seeing prices on Indumil's website anymore but InfoArmas says $5,465,562 so around $1,885 depending on exchange rate.
Come to think of it the $1,250 was probably for a crappy Llama .38 spl I was thinking about buying. |

Slide mounted safety? What is this, 1990?
Garbage. Edit: Where is the frame mounted safety I keep seeing people mention? |

Also sort of interesting is that Colombia produces (or used to) Galils and Mini Uzi's. Alhough I've mostly seen Tavors being carried by the Army for the last few years. Still see Galils sometimes, and saw a cop with an MP5KPDW a year or two ago.

I don't mind the looks at all. Slide-mounted safety and that trigger pull are huge turn-offs.
Depending on how it felt in the hand I wouldn't turn one down for a few hundred, but that'd be my limit. |

Did anyone post that Cordova isn’t Córdoba the Chrysler with Corinthian leather everyone kept posting

I thought so too. This too. Miami is this one of your write ups? I seem to recall you do articles for one of the gun magazines. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

First, your English as a second language is better than our Spanish will ever be. Thank you for the information you presented, I doubt any of us were familiar with this product, or Columbia's firearms manufacturing capacity or history.
The gun seems to be fine for domestic market needs, but to compete with other pistols on the export market, it needs some refinements, or an abnormally low price. The slide safety needs to become frame mounted, or an automatic firing pin block used. The bottom front of the grip should be less curved, as in most pistols. These are only small changes, but necessary in today's market. Look at Walther, SIG and Glock. Don't depart from the norms. |

ugly, huge, fucking as wide as my truck, slide mounted safety....
what's not to like? |
|
No sense having a modern semi-auto that takes two men and a boy to pull the trigger on.
|
|
that's pretty neat. price it correctly, as in really cheap, I'd buy one just for fun
