Even Trump's most trusted advisors didn't expect him to fare this well.
Almost a year ago, recruited for my public relations and public policy expertise, I sat in Trump Tower being told that the goal was to get The Donald to poll in double digits and come in second in delegate count. That was it. The Trump camp would have been satisfied to see him polling at 12% and taking second place to a candidate who might hold 50%. His candidacy was a protest candidacy. Yep. Trumps supporters are aware of that. Maybe when she says it the GOPe will catch on? Because we have been screaming it from the rooftops and they refuse to hear us. ETA: but finishing her article, even she doesn't get us. Trump is not our "voice" we are not looking for our voice. Trump is our hammer. The hammer we use to smash the GOPe machine. So it stops spitting out McCains, Romney's, Jebs and Rubios. Who wins in 2016 doesn't matter as much as who the GOPe gives us in 2020. |

The lady worked communications for a PAC, she wasn't a "top Trump strategist". She also said he doesn't want the job. If so then why is he spending his own money and putting in 5 times the physical effort of every other candidate? He is visiting every state, even when he knows he has no chance of winning. The only state that I know he missed was Hawaii. If Trump doesn't want the job but has more passion and drive for the job then every other candidate, what does it say about those people?
No way was she close to Trump. If she was close she would be bound by a NDA and couldn't say anything. Interesting that the same OP who posted this article of non-sense is also the same person who posted about Trump's aggressive and over reaching NDA complaining that anyone involved with Trump couldn't say anything at all. Just a troll being a troll is what is going on here. |

If true, it's pretty slimey if you ask me. No matter what you think of the candidates, someone in on a top level meeting bailing then publishing the whole story is a douchebag of the highest order. I doubt she'll ever work in politics again. And even in the private sector, I wouldn't trust her to keep any secret without an ironclad NDA and a team of lawyers watching her every move.
