These things happen when you violate other countries airspace as a rule, and launch attacks on the lawful government. I could post the same thing, and change the Nationality, but I don't think those posts would last long. I believe the average American is better served with a good relation with Russia than a hostile one. I believe Putin is rational and can be engaged with strength to strength. I believe that we Americans have no fight with the Syrians or even Iranians and they are not threatening to us. You tell me. |

Israeli reporters with ties to the military keep saying the event in the north is ongoing, yet residents in the Golan were told things are back to normal. Sounds to me like they're implying that more details, currently censored, are forthcoming.

So with that in mind, I do exactly what Assad is doing to keep myself from being Quaddafi or Saddam. It did work, and it was a better more stable region when it was Assad, Nasser, Quaddafi and Saddam than it is now. Before you start playing SECSTATE ask how Assad's daddy took power, why he was successful, what kept the peace for so long, and what changed, especially in the 90s, that sealed the fate of any Alawite attempting to control Syria. I know for a fact you can't answer any of these answers. Like I know without googling you couldn't tell me who created the modern state of Syria, from where did it come, and how it took its shape. I bet you couldn't tell me current Assad's dad's name. Ba'athist were national socialists for Arabs. As long as they weren't white colonists they were supposed to be treated all the same, be they Sunni or Shia Muslim, Christan, etc. But ultimately Assad regime proved only loyal to their own tribe from their own ethnicity and told the rest of the country to deal with his oppression against them or his secret police would kill them. Same thing Saddam did (also a Ba'athist), same as Gaddafi (who practiced something similar). Now Assad's secret police are dead or hiding in Europe and there is no fucking way Sunni Arabs, or even Kurds would ever unite under Assad or any Alawite. So you keep wishing in one hand for peace under Assad, shitting in the other, see which fills up first. |

Losing an F16 and an Apache, if true, is a pretty serious development. It makes one wonder if the Syrians have been holding back on some of the prior Israeli strikes.

There are ongoing operations it would appear, if other pilots are down, I don't expect Israel to talk about it until they are picked up.

Yes or No You already stated before you believed "Assad is the best option in the Area." Now you've been made aware he's an Arab Nazi who went tribal in politics while relying on whopping ~15-20% of his country to have his back, while pissing off rest, who finally kicked off rebellion brewing for decades. So now that your knowledge is broadened, does your ignorant ass opinion change? |

I believe Putin is rational and can be engaged with strength to strength. I believe that we Americans have no fight with the Syrians or even Iranians and they are not threatening to us. You tell me. Russia looks out for Russia, not necessarily hostile, but it certainly does not have our interest at heart. Our saving grace is a strong leader, and someone that Putin is willing to deal with, rather than milquetoast leaders that he knows he could intimidate. Putin and by extension Russia can be bargained with, so I'll give you that. Americans have no fight with the Syrians or even Iranians and they are not threatening to us. This ruling class has the means, money, and ability to finance strikes against us that would make 9-11 pale in comparison. Why they haven't yet is that they are waiting for the perfect time, had Clinton/Sanders or another weak president been in office, they would be ready to strike. With a wild card in office, they are scared, Trump may very well be the only thing saving us from attacks, along with a strong military. The United States is a country that threatens EVERY principal that the Muslims believe in, from equal rights, to freedom of speech, and they will do whatever it takes to destroy us. If not through all out war, then by immigration and our willingness to allow their assimilation. To them, Sharia law will rule, and nothing else matters. |

You're ignorant or deceitful.
