Every person in my department and I think St. Louis county had to take a continuing ed class at the police academy on how to deal with people like that and people having a mental health crisis.
if you became a cop to wip peoples asses, lock folks up and push people around you are going to have a short career. Even before all this woke shit there were plenty of departments that had zero tolerance for shit that looked bad on TV or citizen complaints |

I think the disabled guy was trying to put his cash in the checkout machine but it was too crumped for the machine to take. A Target employee should have come over and asked to help. If the machine couldn't accept his cash the employee should have offered to exchange the cash into a gift card and let him use the gift card to checkout instead. Amazing how the target employees just decided to call the cops and have him removed instead.

Having had several interactions with the BCSO, including calling in an active shooter, I'd rather have the mafia in control. The abject stupidity I've personally witnessed has been bizarre. I've had formal L.E. training, these guys don't appear to have had any. And two of their female deputies, all of 4ft 8in tall and maybe 100 lbs are not who I'd want responding to an incident of physical violence. They were constantly trying to hold up their weapons belt with both hands. I really thought they were kids in some police scouting program. |
